At Endless Summer Charters, we not only offer fishing charters but eco-tours. sunset cruises and sightseeing tours. A combo charter is a nice way to spend the day by combining fishing, shelling, and a trip to lunch at Cabbage Key Inn or one of our other island restaurants. Our typical combo trip includes inshore & back bay fishing, some shelling on Cayo Costa or North Captiva, birdwatching on the many mangrove islands of Pine Island Sound, and observing Dolphin or Manatee while touring Pine Island Sound near Sanibel and Captiva Islands.
Tarpon fishing also has its own season and they are typically here from April through August. People travel from all parts of the world to fish the “Tarpon Capital of the World”. The first tarpon landed with hook and line was here in Tarpon Bay near the shores of Sanibel Island. There’s nothing like the adrenaline rush of catching the renowned Silver King!
The staff at Endless Summer Charters love sharing our passion for fishing and our love for the islands of SW Florida. As natives of S.W. Florida, our captains are full-time professional fishing guides. Our captains have the local knowledge to give you the very best experience possible no matter which fishing charter style you choose.
Our top-of-the-line 25′ Shaefer tower boat & our 25′ C-Hawk bay boats are the perfect boats for backwater and Sanibel fishing AND they allow us to go off-shore when the Tarpon or King Mackerel are running. They’re perfect for a little Grouper or Triple-tail fishing on calm days. Our boats have t-tops for shade on those hot, sunny days. You’re really getting a lot of boat for the money and we can comfortably accommodate up to six passengers inshore and four offshore.
Sanibel & Fort Myers Fishing with Endless Summer Charters
Our main boarding location is Port Sanibel Marina. We also offer multiple pick-up locations on Sanibel, Fort Myers Beach, Captiva Island, Sanibel Harbor Resort, North Captiva, Cape Coral & Pine Island by special arrangement.
Some of Florida’s finest saltwater fishing occurs in Southwest Florida. This area of Florida has some of the best backcountry, flats, and nearshore fishing in the state, using light tackle, it’s angling at its best. Florida’s extensive network of bays, mangrove islands, and tidal creeks that permeate the region present angling challenges to the accomplished angler as well as the novice. There are thousands of miles of shoreline, oyster bars, and thousands of acres of sea-grass flats that attract an abundance of saltwater fish.
For the adventurer or true sportsman, Tarpon fishing for the prized “Silver King” is it. Captains Bill, CJ & Hunter have the experience and know-how to help you land that trophy. During season in Sanibel there is nothing like Tarpon fishing in Boca Grande pass! Did you know the first tarpon taken on rod and reel was caught just minutes from Port Sanibel Marina?
Roaming the inshore waters are four of Florida’s most sought-after game fish, the Tarpon, Snook, Redfish, and the Spotted Sea Trout. Thousands of anglers come to Southwest Florida each year for the chance at a Grand Slam, catching a fish of each species in a single day. In addition to fishing, Florida’s wildlife helps to provide an extraordinary aesthetic experience.
Offshore (some call it Deep Sea) we have many Grouper species, snapper, kingfish, shark, etc. You may be lucky enough to catch the mighty Goliath Grouper while fishing with our guides!
If Captains Bill, CJ or Hunter are not available for the date you’ve chosen we can refer you to another reputable Royal Shell Port Sanibel Marina Charter Fleet guide. All the captains we refer are USCG, licensed, and insured.

Sanibel Island & Fort Myers Eco-tours and Sightseeing Tours
Not interested in fishing? We run shelling tours to the outer islands including the pristine islands of Cayo Costa and North Captiva, where you just may be the only ones on the beach! Find the illusive Junonia shell and we’ll put you in the Sanibel Island news!
Shelling not your thing? Plan a day of sightseeing or historical tour. While on our Sanibel eco-tours, also known as wildlife tours, watch the dolphin jump and play in the wake of the boat, search for the endangered manatee and sea turtles and then stop for lunch at historical Cabbage Key for a “Cheeseburger in Paradise” and a Cabbage Creeper, their famous cocktail.
Birdwatching to stop and photograph birds of prey including bald eagles, osprey, & golden eagles as well as wading birds like snowy egrets, great white egrets, great blue herons, white ibis, and roseate spoonbills is popular. We will do everything we can to get you up close while protecting our natural and beautiful wildlife in SW Florida.
We are one of the few licensed boat tours to guide you throughout the waters of the Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge where birds nest in their natural habitat.
